Hypnosis for Children

Although hypnotherapy is often thought of as assisting adults in overcoming difficulties, experienced hypnotherapists are well aware that children make wonderful hypnotic explorers due to their fantastic imaginations and problem solving creativity.

Just watch a child create a pirate ship out of an old cardboard box or enjoy wonderful adventures with his or her 'imaginary friend' and you will see how naturally they engage in the fluid, creative state of mind that we adults can often only capture within trance.

Children from 5 through to 15 can often be assisted through hypnosis and children above this age range can, of course, benefit from slightly more mature approaches to hypnotherapy.

By engaging with your child in a safe and respectful way we can create a fun, enjoyable space to explore new possibilities and imaginative solutions to worries or difficulties. The emphasis is on fun and safety and, with mum or dad never far away during the session, your child’s inner resources and desire for change can be liberated and utilised.
